I think this time its over I saw the fat lady sing!

I saw her as I was driving home with the combines late late last night. It started as a mist now I wake up to a full blown down pour (over 1/2 so far and more coming) yea yea. To those who want to know where the farms base is located click on enviroment canada radar for sask. The green yellow is area. To day we will start plan B since drews forcast is so nice till monday. Basically $1.3 will have to over winter in field. Today will be a beer goggles day. Only hope now would be no snow or rain all winter (as if that will happen) funny thing rain ended in july for our area but since then wow wow wow. To Mayo Schmidt we told your guys yesterday sorry no sales of any kind (seed fert chem ) in 2010 crop due to his idiotic comments yesterday. If they have that poor info on harvested area distance youself because probably their bottom line is a myth to. Pop Twist AH tases good its got to be noon some where.HA HA HA

Well were thinking for Chritmas this year its going to be in the field. I'd like ot tell Vitera to hell for Mayo's statements, but their moisture was one full point drier than Pioneer Balgonie on both tough and dry samples. Make deals with the devil to get this one done.

She's been warming up here for the last three weeks. Just those quiet hums and soft notes. Drizzles just enough every few days to keep it damp but not enough to help our dried out dirt. Few guys went yesterday, our canola wouldn't test. Some standing barley in the area at 19. Wait! I think I hear a commencing note... Oh, just raindrops. Could be the same thing.

Yesterday said was supposed to sunny this morning. Now cloudy and 80 percent afternoon, 80 tonight, 80 evenning. 40 tomorrow. and 80 friday. Thursday low minus 8 and Saturday low of minus 13. So she may not even melt out this time. If the old dryer had canola screens I could have sold it 10 times. Only been on kijiji 5 days.

Should get the new dryer in a couple days hopefully, it is an automatic batch super b, don't have an MC its a 1974 toxowich. Thinking now I should have been running it. Never did like running it always thought it was too much work in the past. The guy driving out today figures he will dry canola with the old toxowich, a few coats of paint on the screens to make the holes smaller. Cheap dryer for a 1000 dollars, no rust.

Were doing canola at any where from 11.3 to 14.8 its going through at over 200 hour heat to cool but can't do real tough unless twice. Redid the core with a #5 round screen and outside with same. We have electic to fill swing idiling to dump and swing to fill wet. Its working but are on way north to look at bigger one it should limp us through till one arrives in nov

Feels more and more hopeless all the time.... that must mean its time for a turn around. Lets keep our fingers crossed that SF3 just saw some fat guy that looked like a lady I refuse to give up.

SF3 is your MC PTO Driven, Propane or Nat Gas? If you have a new one coming I may be interested in buying your old one. Just to have around.

Its a PTO driven, could be converted to power but it needs a 30 hp to run the two fans. Its also Propane since were at the end of the line they would have to create a loop I believe they call it, sort of like mini storage, 30000 or some stupid amount. Will keep in mind but brother in law has first dibs.

We took off tires slid in shop at farm. Then removed half the side panels and back two so you can get at the burner area. Then Phone a screen supply store $6.00 a sq ft. get a #5 round hole screens the sheets are 4 x 8 they will cut to the 11.5 inch size for sides. Cover the main burner area with 8 4 x 8 sheets then do outside of burner with the other sheets. Close up and screw the sheets to existing burner sheets with #10 3/4. Caulk the seams on outside it will stop any loss. Then on your kickers get light belting and run 5 inch strips wide for each kicker and push on top of kicker. This stops blow by. Build a roof with light tin. AND A WAY YOU GO it works in pinch. Cost $3,500.00 for all including chalking etc. We tried and will work.
