Just curious. Had a canola sample in a sealed bag on the floor of my truck. It was off our chart but speculating to be between 16.5 to 17.5 moisture and 13 degrees. After two days (in the sealed bag) it was showing signs of mold. I realize it's a clear bag and perhaps the sun got at it but wouldn't the same thing be happening in a grain bag? Not trying to scare anyone, I'm just paranoid of how I store canola and still have some left to go. Has anyone taken any out of their bags?

1 in truck temp above 0 sun from glass etc etc.
2 was it a zip lock or not.
3 Sun beating in HA HA HA OK 3 times last week.
4 bag is black inside so no sun light at all.
5 is the canola mature.
seems way to fast to have problems, stuff in plastic pale with lid opened yesterday after 10 days is still ok.
Any one else have experience.

Was in a sample bag, I do push all the air out of them I can, they seal pretty good. What's this "sun" you speak of? 3%green, has been swathed since I was still a young man. Just an odd occurnence. We've rolled high moisture grain into bags and it will cake but I expect there's more air in them.
