    CWRW CWB survey

The cwb is currently doing a survey to identify Supplies of select winter wheat on the prairies. Only confirms that A) the board doesn't know how to handle winter wheat sales and B) winter wheat is well down the priority list. We are suppose to grow it, get nothing for it and then wait for the board to organize some sales late in the crop year. Then they can't figure out why so much ends up in the feed wheat pit. Oh yes we also have to truck it further to a designated delivery point. Producers have bent over backwards to try and make a market opportunity for milling quality winter wheat. In return from the board we have got nothing. So when someone from the board tells you they are working hard on winter wheat tell them their full of crap. It would seem that the board is trying to kill the winter wheat industry and so far they seem to be succeeding in their efforts.

Dumped our perfect 40,000 bus high protein winter wheat in Terra Grains pit. Seemed like a shame but I feel good about getting my money in harvest, not tying up bin space, and getting allot more than the board is estimating that you might get a year from now. CWB not worth my time it is a joke. Please shoot the lame horse, it not making us money so lets bury it. Mr Ritz please start digging the hole.

You bastard some of us would like to deliver our CWSWS wheat to the ethanol plants at a decent price. Your dumping your board grains onto the ethanol grains market.

Any board fence sitters should just read the past two threads....the CWB negatively affects so many things in our system it makes your head spin. From rail car allocation to terminal space to price in the feed/ethanol market....where to begin!!!
