    Is Wheat Over Valued?

    Whats the value of anything?

Roman soldiers were paid one denarius a day or 10 loafs of bread.
Grandaddy was proud to be a two dollar a day man.
Waitress's use to work for a dime a day.
Ounce of gold would usually buy one fine tailored suit or chainmail shirt or 25 barrels of oil or equal weight in pepper at certain times. We wont talk about salt because wars have fought over it along with water.

I remember a while back in the harsher times of hauling to the elavator and buying a pop, funny thing was one bushel of grain wouldnt buy it.

    What can 5 bucks buy?
2 minutes of mechanic work at a garage?

I wont bother thinking about all them roman soldiers i could buy or waitress's,well maybe i'll think about the waitress's but the point is....wheats buying power is low not high
