With Clearout still at 3.75 per liter, anhydrous at 37 cents with delivery. Anyone actually not buying their fertilizer these days? I am just trying to hold off payment but to pay 50 cents for n in the spring is not good business sense. Supplier should be able to hold for the farmer if booked a certain tonnage. Anyone getting suppliers to hold product for payment later?

The fert one is a simple buy buy buy. Even see if can get some for 2011. Glyphos also. But Chem should also drop but thanks to the PMRA and Crop Care or what ever their called were not going to see that.

Generic Glyphosate was/is available for $3.50 in the south west. Have on order for at least 6 totes if it hits $3.25. Expect it to be filled by march.
FNA has been a price follower the last year and 1/2. Now with the full price membership cost we told them to stick it!!! Their booth at CPS could be exciting this year.
90% of next years fert should be in bins by end of next week weather permitting.
Canola seed all bought. Other chem prices "should be lower in season so will wait on them for a while. Everything looks like it will come from independents so far. NO PROGRAMS if we can get the products we WANT to use and be comparable in final costs.

I have not used programs in a couple years and it makes decision making much easier if you do not have to consider points and bundles and all that crap. Generic companies are starting to have alot of options that are easier to access.
