Buyers are saying our pace of just under 190kmt per month for the first 5 months of the crop year, will likely back off to 50k to 70kmt per month for the remainder of the crop year. Do you buy that?

190 per month for Aug to Dec 31 would be 950000 to end of dec. I understand exports where 144000 per month for those 5 months with a total of 723000 to Dec 31. Alot of lentils no question, but still only 50% of what we grew and we need to export 50% in the first 5 months as sales generally are slower in last half of the year IF india and Turkey have a red crop. Heck, most companies are buying none right now, so it has to slow down. All the talk about 20-22 cent new crop red are going to get buyers to ensure that they run out of supplies from domestic or import sources before available CDN new crop. Likely the Stat CAn production numbers are on the low side as most will tell them they have grown less, not more, then what was really grown.
