    Producer Cars

I heard that 98% of producer cars loaded are CWB cars. What are others on this forum opinion about that?

I beleive this is true. In my area, the distance to market is approx. 1- 2 hours by truck. Saskatoon, Clavet, Lloydminster, Unity. Most farmers grow oats (martensville), canola (lloyd, clavet) some peas, and a little wheat for rotation and pre-harvest weed control. The only people that load rail cars are the organic farmers because they have greater distance to their market. Its not hard work, actually its easy. Then again... paying a guy to sit in a lineup for 3 hours and dumping it through the grates is even easier!
