60 Days till we Start Seeding, But WHAT!!!!

I am wracking my brain, OK maybe not but what the hell is a guy going to seed this spring.
Last year we were Durum HRS Oats Barley Canola and Peas. This year I don't know what to start cleaning and even how much. Every thing is in the tank. Now if I could grow Chickpeas or lentils but have been their and not ever ever going back. So do I drop Durum because if I have to Keep 30000 bushels over that's like seeding 500 acres of Crop. (Thanks You losers at the CWB) So then Maybe HRS but their is a shit load of that on the world market. YES YES not high quality stuff but thanks to the CWB we don't get paid a premium for our good stuff. So then their is Oats but the millers in Canada don't seem to want to give us a real price because of the low price paid for HRS AND DURUM. So then their is Barley, HA HA HA. Cant even drink our way out of this one. Then Peas well how low of a price will they get to every time I phone the elevator girl just laughs an tells me. So then wall to wall flax, Oh yea Two companies have been trying to buy all the Cert seed that passes from growers and then force the rest to buy cert seed from them. Yea another Canadian farm screwing plan. So that leaves Canola. But seems lately that the world doesn't want us since its all beans beans beans. But as the Canola council says lets get to magic seeded acreage number so growers can achieve major losses. Not just small ones. Then their is SMF HA HA HA HAHAHAHAHAHA. Not going their but maybe some Albertan with deep deep pockets that wants a nice 9000 acre grain farm, Maui was so much better than farming. Or throw a dart on a board and take the first 4 and go seed.
Tough call, tough call.

So what farmers will do, in general, is ensure that there is an overabundance of everything produced again this year. Thats bad enough to keep prices below the obscene levels that they are presently.
Too bad we can't all see what it will look like next winter. Isn't it obvious that we are all set up for burdensome supplies of all crops; except maybe a couple that no one seems to currently have great interest in. If we as farmers knew what those crops were we would surely wreck their prospects by sowing double the acres on a moment's notice.
Naw, we have so little control that we deserve what we get.

It's all in the lightning fast typing. I guess I accidentally pressed send an extra time; but it usually sends a person to an acknowledgement page first.
You are right; that this forum should allow a person at least a few hours; or maybe a day to edit their posts. Other forums certainly do. It would eliminate a lot of spelling mistakes; and even some rants that would be changed after a bit of sober second thought.

Man doing this thousand seed count on this errr medical use product is a pain these seeds are tiny! Wonder what a quarter section under irrigation will net me.......
