OK that map is screwed the more I look at it. We are low moisture. Come on. Last Oct it rained every single dam day. Jeez. But for winter snow yes we have been lacking. YEAH that's great. Snow is BS for our area it just makes sloughs. And funny yesterday I was out with Quad we do have sloughs. Hopefully April will get rid of them before seeding. Yes I also agree I made way way way way more money in late 70s growing bin run canola and using treflan than I am now with this GM modified BS. How low can we go attitude. All were doing is padding the pockets of grain companies. That's it. A once profitable crop is like all the rest.

We are geting screwed with canola seed. But it has become apparent now, that the reason there was such a large increase in seed cost, was that the chemical companies could see that glyphosate prices were going to drop dramaticly due to more choice. To maintain the bottom line, seed prices went up!

Not sure about this growing less to get more mentality. We all know what happened in the rest of the world when they got better prices. They produced more, so would we not just be earning ourselves less market share???
