WHYYYYYYYYYY would a lawyer or an accountant want to be a farmer? Unless he/she was a very poor lawyer/accountant, maybe!

That makes sense. They are way more accounting savvy and darn little makes any dollars and sense on a farm, so they would never farm like those of us who work for zip a good part of the time. They are realists, we are optimists.

Sask99 I am trying to clean up some Durum seed with a little barley in sample. So having a fun time. But if one looks at costs and yield and can get 75 bus durum at 3.60 feed into Manitoba 270 acre vs malt at 3 and 65 yield.

          Sk3 off topic but,
Why bother trying to clean Barley out of Durum when there are oddles of it around the country?
Sell yours as feed and move on.

Their is just a little bit in our seed stock soy trying to get it to grade up. Its a challenge that's all.

Advisers advise. Information is a good thing, the more the better. Whether it comes from a CA ,a lawyer, a banker, a friend or ????, it is still only advise. We still sign the cheque, so it`s still our choice!
