    Very wet this week!!!

    Looks like it is our turn for a long rain event. Ended up wuth just under 2in from Friday night on. Need to spray some early Canola very soon.

    You will soon love mud, extremely lucky if you are seeded. We need a week just to get into the field to cultivate, hopefully to DRY it out to seed!

      Well got to farm from lake at 8 and holly crap less than 1/2 inch were mudding since then should get 480 in today thank god.lake we had 1 1/2 wet their.

        Went and checked the fields we have left to seed and I would say we are probably done for the year,38% done and 4000 ares of summerfallow sounds like a fun summer. We could go rut up and down the fields and get stuck 13 times a day for fun just to produce a crappy break even crop if we are lucky. Been in this boat before and last time it was a waist of time seeding into mud,canola 16 bus/ac, oats frozen 65bus/ac, wheat 28 bus/ac, peas 45 on hills and 0 bus/ac in the lower areas avg 25 bus/ac. Prices below average forcasted bumper crop on the way, yea right. Sorry to be negative but it is a reality if any more rain falls this week. It is officially to wet to seed. $50 crop insurance money should cover the bills.
