John Deere Belts vs. Case IH Quad Trac

These are some Sask farmers, neighboring big farms from about 25 miles away. I hope these links work, its the best test I have ever seen. Nothing like testing stuff at home! They own one of each.

From a guy who is solid Deere that is impressive. I like the race.
But have a buddy who has CIH Quadtrac and he has the diff lock on from one end of field to other just seeding with flexicoil 45 ft. Its that muddy.

Those guys should be seeding instead of fooling around like that

We have a CaseIH quad track and like it. It pulls good and works nicely going around power polls or rock piles under load. From what I have heard the two track tractors don't turn so well under load.

Its really amazing. That Deere is not very effective at all. It may become the Edsel of farm tractors!!

Is anyone really surprised? You pay for it but the quad
is the best tractor on the market as long as you can
live with the ride down the road.

HFL, that YouTube vid was made a month ago. I thought it was funny as heck - but I can't beleive they would do that to $300,000 tractors.
