Maybe Drew Learner was right ?

Just a little off on timeing.
He said southeast Sask and Manatoba were going to be wet first then the moisture over the spring would shift west. Look at the radar tonight. Leaving Northeast Ablberta and Northern Ablberta the last to recieve meaningfull Precip.
The only thing is that it has left central Sask a swamp in the midst of that prediction a reality.

Environment canada sure screwed the pooch last
          night.

They said 60% chance of showers for weyburn estevan
and then clear sailing,we got a good shot and now way
          more rain in the forecast.

Didnt learner predict a dry may for western canada?

He did for western Sask and Alberta till the end of May with moisture showin up in June. I think his forcast model was just a few weeks off.

Heavy rain with hail and high winds this AM . I guess the drought is over , back to normal flooding conditions.
