If it takes off canola acres would most likely sky rocket leaving even more stocks, hopefully more use, hopefully not to low a price, best part is we can screw the N manufacturers here. How do we keep this company out the hands of Monsanto or Bayer??? Can we not band together and buy this company???? Think about the possibilities and advantages this can create and competition. We could even sell patent rights to Monsanto and Bayer or tell them to screw themselves of course we would make our technology so expensive they would not make much profit.

If this is proven, how about the Canadian Canola assocaitions buy the tech for Canada, and let them sell it to US buyers/globally. Creates an advantage for us (let seed companies integrate it into their varities for free use/not real sure about how this is done) and let other countries charge for it.

This technology was developed at the
University of Alberta. Arcadia acquired it
          and subsequently licensed the technology
          to Monsanto in 2005.
