Does not seem like much barley in the ground according to this survey. And a lot of the barley here is the most moisture stressed in my opinion that you can see from the road. Perhaps barley would be a good option if can do some muddin yet. Not here though.
Had a hard time chasing down the jackhammer today to dig in the new sump pump, seems everyone else here is doing it too, 45 year old houses without a problem are having problems. My basement started 2 days ago beside pool table. I vacumed, back a few hours later and it up to wall and another patch shows up. Next morning all over the place. I am kinda vibraten now, not used to this.

Jag, how close this a.m.?, we were 2 with no forst anywhere - even low spots. Thats as close as it gets for here, too close for comfort. Hope you guys down there get a good crop, last year did not look fun for that area. Bring on the heat and sun, we all need it, done or not done seeding. And again watch for cutworms they may be in a field near you.

furrowtickler We did not get any frost here this AM. I
am not sure how cold it got we were out walking in a
relay for life relay all night into the AM and there was
lots of dew but no frost.

Calling for a risk of frost again tonight.

JD 3007. Lets see, you must be between Elfross, Kelvington, Lintlaw, and Invermay?

                    Am I right? LOL
