Stats Canada A waste of Money and Plus Stone age information!

Yea Yea Yea I know how most will react but here is Govt Agency that sends out information that really isn't information at all. Seeding intentions after crop in ground. Sorry with computers etc why isn't this report what actually was seeded. Phone last week if need be 25000 farmers and ask how did it go. Oh you finished or oh you didn't get started. No we get a report that says back in May farmers were hoping to seed a record amount of Canola HRS, lower durum ETC ETC. Fruck every one in world new that back in April. So why even come out with report. Canada needs a new system sorry doing things in stone age like we do in this country has to change. Here people actually get paid to produce a document that is three months old. Then they come out with the remark that do to problems in Saskatchewan with a little water we will have a more updated report in Aug 20th. Fruck Ill have a better report on what was seeded oh lets say FRIDAY (seeding report to Sask Crop insurance) But no Stats Canada will have it by 20th of August. USELESS USELESS USELESS.

I like Mike Jubinville/Profarmer Canada approach of using 80 % of the Statcan seeded acreage estimate as a base. Exception might be barley at 10 % (Mike's idea given more acres in Alberta and switching from other crops). I know inexact and doesn't drowned out stuff (will be included in non harvested portion) but a ball park. Yield is now the issue versus acres.
