Finally finished Spraying! HA HA HA!

Finally today will finish spraying Disease control on Oats and Barley. Damage to machine from all water. One drive shaft and steering pump. (when yoke breaks it takes out pump, ah Deere) Also side wheels on boom took a shit kicking should have changed to ones with shock. Will rebuild this summer. Also end boom shook to hell. Ruts are going to be a huge problem in fields, Also if this keeps up and yes it rained again last night starting to wounder what harvest will be like. Hm have duals on combines but will they need rear wheel assist. Also semis are not going to work this fall with all the washed out roads, they will never have them all fixed by harvest.
On oats front since that is what is getting disease control. Two fields are on our best land so well drained and higher elevation. Looks good so going for best. But price is problem and it seems with every thing the market is trying to fill fall orders now with last years product because they know their will be a shortage once all numbers are out. So lets look at value, 100 plus oats at 3 makes 300 an acre. 70 peas at 5 makes 350 an acre. Just checking out some nice pea crops on the red army's farm. When you got the dollars to give it every single thing and no worry about cost it must be fun to farm. Nice going guys.
Any way what other disasters have guys had spraying this year its been a doozer. Have to wash sprayer every night because booms get to heavy by end of the day.

On our 4720, heard a vibration then shutter by time I hit the switch it was to late but got out of the water to dry ground. Seems with all water were going through the drive shaft should of been greased every few days its a bitch to get at never had this problem before. Should have phoned a professional swamp buggy operator and asked such questions to.

Touch wood only stuck once this year but it was on new farm other sloughs have been GPS same direction so drive through old ruts and hard bottom. New field not so lucky, also breaking or where you sprayed a fence line try driving their you sink to china. HA HA. fun times.

Lighten up haha. I was led to believe that there was absolutely nothing but wild mustard, Hawks Beard and dandlion gowing in-between Saskatoon and Winnipeg.

The raven autoboom with shocked wheel works
great...dont really need sensors even for fungicide in
                            cereals...just extend wheels down a little....awsome on
4720 anyway... is there any other sprayer.

timm, you must have your "deer" dimmers on. Pound for pound I will challange any sprayer out there - they all seem to be as good as the operator now. some much easier on fuel and pocket book though....
