The raven autoboom with shocked wheel works
great...dont really need sensors even for fungicide in
          cereals...just extend wheels down a little....awsome on
4720 anyway... is there any other sprayer.

timm, you must have your "deer" dimmers on. Pound for pound I will challange any sprayer out there - they all seem to be as good as the operator now. some much easier on fuel and pocket book though....

Anyway, we just started spraying again with fungicides. Conditions and forecasts are now very favorable for disease here. Spraying lance on the canola, headline on the lentils and will wait for powdery mildew to show up in the peas. Second cycle of diamond backs are out so the big flush likely in early Aug. Hopeing that midge does not show up but it will within the next 10 days.
All that then pray we don't get hailed out, getting to be a very expensive crop.

The problem this year is there will be good prices, but it will cost so much to get them.

And the frost and hail are completely out of a farmers' control. All those inputs become a dead loss. Insurance doesn't pay you more because you fertilized, sprayed fungicide and insecticide.

I don't know about the deere but the Cases sprayers aren't nearly as thirsty as the Gators. 4500 acs using under 350gal of fuel in hills and muskeg.
