Last week of July Crop Observations!

Well headed back to city form the North Last night and had a nice drive checking crops. Seems one way to describe what I saw. Really good land Shitty crop. Roll lighter land getting better. Flooded out never recovered. Early seeded and established before Monsoon season good. Any thing seeded last week June Awesome should be ready in November.
Flooded out will be about 35% on ours but from insider at Sask Crop Insurance way higher than their budgeting for. Some spraying of Midge most guys are at point this crop has had all chances in world and their done throwing good money after bad.

1st seeded canola going out of bloom, 5 weeks, the rest just starting to go out 4 weeks. Peas and wht much the same as last year for crop delevelopment and potential. Spray planes have been going double time when weather permits - fungicides and insecticides. Some days/eve's it sounds like ww 2.
Heavy rains/downpours and hail floating through every day or two. So far we have been dodging bullits left right and center - I don't know how much longer our luck will hold. A very nerveracking summer.
