Feeling like a Talliban poppy farmer

Feels like we are dodging Air Strikes (AKA Hail Storms). Sounds like there has been some bad hail storms out there. We Started swathing lentils (nothing to write home about)but we are dodging rain and hail everyday. Any one close to getting any "Poppy's" off?

Not to be a stick in the mud but,the taliban where very anti opium and eliminated its production under their rule-now its back in full swing, its actually a long funny story going back to the chinese opium wars when the british where shipping it to china from afganistan by the boatload but bla bla bla(sidetracked)...its goig to be interestig to see lentil yields

Stick in the mud you are... Ha Ha. Sorry I will try to brush up on my poppy production facts before I make any comments.... Lentil Yields in our area going to be blah... Lots of drowned out.

We Swath because we ran a Yellow combine for to many years and were scared to run a rock through it... Old habits die hard. Some to do with harvest management as well I guess.

If it doesn't rain it sure makes for easier harvest... won't challenge that.

You think the monsoon season is done?
