More news from Russia - but not a peep about Unkraine, Kazakstan, India, Pakastan, China or the slight trouble in Aus or how the very cold winter has affected Argintina crops? Or the heat stressed E.U. crops. Also the U.S. corn/soy crop will not hit USDA's production numbers out this a.m. and the market knows it. Two of the biggest crop producing states are under massive floods as well (Look at Iowa - it is a mess - up to 15in rain over the past four days)

Your right there appears to be grain stocks issues around the world. For some of us, me included there are going to be grain shorts right here on your own farm. But what I find real confusing is two experts from the same country, and its just not one country, that should or do know the grain numbers are so far apart you its difficult a get a grasp of just where the numbers are going to shake out. The u.s. corn crop might not reach the USDA numbers but I'm not so sure that its going to fall that far short either. It looks as tho there are some issues, (sds along with considerable disease pressure) with the bean crop. Appears to be getting smaller everyday and USDA number is definitely to high. The million dollar question is, just where is the bean crop going to come in? I believe demand and exports for both crops remains to be very strong, above trade expectations. More than ever now appears to be a good time to have your eyes and ears tuned in to whats going on in the rest of the world. Now if my crystal ball would just clear up....
