Banks struggle to boost loans as demand ebbs in weak rebound

Here is a good read for how our big banks are doing. HA HA HA.http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/economy/banks-struggle-to-boost-loans-as-demand-ebbs-in-weak-rebound/article1697139/
OK so their sad that big business and home owners have quit borrowing and they might have to live on less income as a corporation.
Hm over valued over charges way more hoops to jump through etc etc.
Seems Ag is doing OK yet the big banks look at us as oh so risky. Most farmers use FCC or Deere CIH etc. Yet farmers have hard assets etc. Home owners have equity and govt guarantees on mortgages. Oh they slowed down buying hm. Over valued home hm it catches up or is the real question how strong really is the economy. Our city friends are just one paycheck away from the poor house and the banks know it.
Lots of questions But funny a year ago on our home in city the bank would have given us a $600,000.00 line of credit on a paid for home. Yet on farm they need section 4-27 and your left nut plus first born and all future things we do. Yea nice hey.
But just how bad is the finances getting out their for the City folk?
