Neighbours are harvesting, standing wheat in the rain. But they are big boys and need/must go rain or shine. They gots a dryer and have had a marketing course, sos they've probably sold everythin. Hope they don't get stuck er break somethin........ Suspect that they's thrown a bit outta the back, er grindin the wheat to flour. Dryer may turn out to bake the stuff. Love the smell of baking bread tho.

Yellows, I think they're still looking ok. I got kickied off the farm and told to make some money until the weather gets better, but there hasn't been any bitching about them beening crapy yet.

Nothing here, East of Calgary, few neigbors have some barley done, maybe a half section or so each. Only thing anybody has been able to do is swath canola. Looks like we'll be havesting for Hall'o'ween again. Joy. Not sure what the weather has done to grades yet. #2 CWRS looks like a dream now.

Did some more canola today, all was good until the snow/sleet storm hit - oh yea no mention of that in any forcast btw!! And yea it's cold, 2 by 8:30pm when the front moved through - dropped 5 deg within a 1/2 hr, nice. Everything is going to be cockstiff by morning.
