Stopped in at the local Cargill to sign a bassis contract this weekend. Was talking to the grain grader about the wheat that was coming in. He informed me that all the wheat is a number two now becasue of the rain. So on the way home I thrased some out at a couple of fields... lots of colout still. But you got to know because it's rained it's an automatic #2. I'm sure since the frost it will all be #3 if it's affected or not. What a bunch of crooks these grain companies are.
When are we going to wise up and lobby for our gradding system to be based on quantitave measurents instead of this B.S. qualitative system we have now?
