Can any of you western guys recommend a good small-scale (say 100-150 bushel/hour in wheat) mobile seed cleaner or a stationary cleaner that could be set up for mobile use fairly easily? Also any legal niceties if you were to go into the custom seed cleaning business on a small scale? Got my winter wheat cleaned a couple of weeks ago and with the flat-rate per lb pricing the guys have rigged around here with no price adjustment for bulk handling or larger amounts the guy that does mine is gouging me for $300/hour with a machine he paid for 20 years ago and I'm paying for the electricity to run it on top of that.
Would probably be cleaning wheat, barley, conventional soybeans and maybe some oats and red clover with it.
