Wall had to walk a tightrope on this file. I personally dont believe a word BHP is dishing out about Jansen. They will not build it if they have the others. Come on would you build a new yard side when you have one.
Lingenfelter is a idiot plain and simple, as long as the NDP have him as a leader Wall will be fine. They made a huge mistake when they brought him home.

harper is in a tight spot. he needs the sask mp's but saying no goes against his grain. my bet is he okays the deal and within about six or eight years he's on bhp board of directors.

never thought of that jensend but could be right, we've seen that before.

It just kinda funny that when it comes to the government not getting it's money seems to me idiology has just gone out the window but when it comes to money for other things boy that idiology rules.

The way Brad sounded it could have been lingenfelter speaking so he will probably get a lot of ndp voters as well. Yea Mr. Wall is all things to all people. He is on the right in the centre and on the left.

              Exactly cotton.
              All politics.
Not saying I totally agree, yet valid points, you know its a good decision when no one is happy.
If investment Canada could be trusted to hold companies to their promises. BHP Bulition would be a slam dunk.
Its always good politics in SK to make the Feds the bad guys.

What I don't grasp is why SK. farmers are not delighted that BHP has taken a run at Potash Corp. Your pockets will be bulging with unspent fertilizer dollars, and your bins will be brimming with potash.

It's felt that BHP will never shut production down, lay workers off, or cartel itself because they consider the world's product price is too low. I thought a certain number of you hated Doyle. Here's your chance to turf him, and you want to have him continue because Wall says it's not a good deal for Saskatchewan.

                Please make up your minds.

why wouldn't you want wall to take a hard line with bhp? they aren't coming here to hand out freebies and make everybody happy. bhp has goten as big as it is by being hardnosed capitalists and that's the attitude govts. should take in dealing with them. make them keep their word. corps take govts to court all the time to enforce agreements. bhp wants to have a framework agreement with more understandings than precise commitments. hell, make 'em pay.

Saskatchewan still wields a lot of power because Sask holds the right to tax and that is devine power- no pun intended.
