OK its Friday who should we ps off!

Slow week and then it snowed. We ended up with a foot of the white stuff. The sled heads are going nuts. Sleds going all over the place, almost want to go out and buy a few. Yea right Ill take Hawaii or any where south any day.
Canola had a great Monday then last night the wheels fell off. Seems China wants to hike interest rates so us dollar goes up and commodities drop. But on positive note looks like 2.4 percent less acreage to soy in USA next year. I guess the prices should hold. Canada on other hand will look like a New Holland from the air. I miss the JD green color. Its simple why not grow Canola next year, price is right, its easy to grow and were wet.
Ah I said it were wet, and in last 3 weeks their have been two huge snow storms each bringing water. First as rain then snow. So were going into freeze up saturated. Hm soil tests proved it stick probe into ground 1 foot and pull out 6 inches of dirt. hole fills with water. OK that part is wrong but come back next day its full.
So acreage will start out as huge but if our area is now the Foamlake and the line is moving 100 miles south and west for no seeding. Will the acreage actually get that high.
That question will be discussed over and over all winter.
Canola yields and reports. Their are allot of yield trials out this week looks like Liberty won again. Its simple boys remember on the Chemical Test farm at Indian head the whole area was banded with 200lbs of N. Its what each of you put into the crop and mother nature that tells the outcome. We gave it every thing then had hail and hail and rain and rain. Outcome the shits. 10 miles West Sandy and no hail out come excellent. Mother nature gives and takes. Its that simple.
Now on the CWB grains and CWB supporters where the hell are all you guys. Oh probably delivering your peas and canola for cash flow.
When facts are presented over and over why are their any CWB supporters even left.
Their is no Premium, their never was and their never will be, it was all a big big big huge lie.
The Great Century Grain Robbery. Started out to feed mother England and ended up feeding the Eastern Politicians.
Off to a farm meeting today and tonight! That I paid for over and over and over. Ah get to talk to some neighbors and have a few cold ones.

One other note the Euro Zone has a problem again. This time its the Irish not Greece. So Investors are scrambling to the US dollar. Canadian is down this morning again. Ah its the luck of the Irish. Have a guinness

I'm glad you like the sport of pissing someone off. But here is a challenge for you. You want to be "free" then to be truly free you need to cut your ties with government completely. It means no more farm plates, no more farm fuel, and whatever you get is what you get based on your own marketing skills and knowledge. No more Ag Department nothing...the government is completely out of your life and you are on your own as a farmer. You do whatever you want. I can live with that can you? If not then shut your damn mouth because you are not a true "Free Marketer". You are just another whinning snivelling SOB who has nothing to do now that harvest is done besides bitch. Put your "free" where your mouth is. If you want to be truly free lets get the government completely out of farming. You'll have to try harder than that to piss me off, but I'm sure your ready to "blow" any second now.

If the gevernment was completely out then most farmers position would not change. Land prices would be lower so landlords would suffer. Accounting fees would decrease because the secret to MNP success was the CAIS/Agristability program and the the CWB would be gone so we would get more for our feed barley. Yes it would be all good. What would the bureaucrats, now unemployed, do?

The sniveling and whinning from rained out Comedian farmers, is startin to get to me. After all each and every year can't be a winner, er kin, no till, no thrill farming. What next? No crap insurance, let the snivelling a whinning begin......... After all, the rest of us who got a crop, have money in the bank this year and lots of it. Farming is funny isn't it? Now does that ps you off boys/girls er what?

You are so right Burbert, always risk, after several whopper crops, 2010 flood was a nice change. Seed 1/2 a crop, cheap fertilizer, cheap fuel, short but, yes, thrilling harvest. Surprise, Agri-stability payout due to 2008 fertilizer bill, plus $71/ acre payment for too wet, plus crop insurance to come. 3 CWRS 13.5% wheat, held over some canola and oats, cashed in on a 50% price increase, biggest problem is income tax. Going shopping for "toys" that depreciate. Whine whine snivel snivel.

Let the cash flow, from crap insurance, and angristability plus whatever ad hoc program the politicos will dream up this year, a one time only solution. Volume of whinning and snivelling to increase, once benefits are announced, this'll get us more fer sur. Lets go to the carbon market and crank that joke up too!!!
