Steve as one of the 6 in Sask who grew oats I believe your correct. Demand isn't dropping that's BS. Its cheap and oat bars and oats are all a hit for people who are into fitness. Rest its cheap for breakfast, so demand is their.
Poor yields over seas so they wont be shipping here like last time.
What happened is the oats processors figured it out early and sucked, sorry took sorry bought cheap oats form farmers and filled up the system. Now their spouting again because guess what by Feb they will need. So spout early and hope farmers get sucked in again.

Reality is, that some farmers will sell into the oat market, at the current price. Caus they need the money, then need the space, many different reasons. Reality of the open, free oat market is, that they kin play games wit Comedian farmers! An suk them in, time and time agin. Some farmers will sell now, to avoid paying the taxman later. Some will sell cause its there right to do whatever they want! In a nutshell, divide and conquer works, each and every time. Caus thers a sucker born each and every minute of the day!!!

Your absolutely correct, inventory was bought till Jan a
long time ago, put out some targets, they might get
hit with out the market going that high. we have not
sold any and are waiting for new year, we are currently
waiting for $4, we saw some hits go at 3.85 and now
market is about 3.40 depending on basis here in
southern manitoba.
