USDA Crop Report

Just a note that USDA released their January crop production estimates, Dec. 1 Stocks report and first 2002 US winter wheat and rye acreage estimates.

Most things a little smaller than expected.

Just to get a little excitement going, is it time to start buying wheat calls? What are you seeing in the wheat market?

Wheat calls are BIG money right now, obviously they should have been bought 2 weeks ago!

My estimate is that they are still 40% higher than last year, speculation can be expensive without a good marketing plan, right?
