Wow has this forum ever went to shit! Every thread about the CWB. Even useless threads like this. We know how they are, we know how they work. We know they cost us money but for Christ sake talk about something else. 4-5 Months ago this forum was a useful tool. I could find out grain/fertilizer/chemical prices and compare them to mine. I could find a deal that I didn't know about or read something that was useful. Now it is full of crap. Its a shame.

I agree saskcan, getting rid of the cwb is not the only or major issue facing farmers. Saying that ending the cwb will fix the ag sector is just as nuts as the other side saying it has been the answer.

Anyone who thinks socialism or communism or any other "ism" is the cause of any injustice will continue to be frustrated. Each and every one of us allows ourselves to be governed by exactly the type of people we deserve. By not supporting other peoples fights against their injustices; it is no wonder that they do not support your particular grievances.
No one has to look far from their doorstep to find those instances. But almost everone chooses to not see them ; ignore them or in some cases actually support those injustices. Its worse than most people think.
A peron once said "You give them too much credit for thinking that deeply". Maybe its a way easier to do a really piss poor job than it is to orchestrate a "work of art"

To you guys who want to talk or read about things other than the CWB there is a simple solution. Start your own threads on the topics that interest you. The forum is open to anyone and everyone to talk about anything and everything. No one is stopping you from doing this.

I have a technical question for car fanatics.

                        1954 GM chevrolet.
                        Two ten four door sedan
                        Body by Fischer
                        Two tone
                        yellow on the bottom

What original color on the top? Would it be white or cream? Thanks.

Not nearly a good enough answer parsley.
Without popular support; your crusades will show little progress; and so will mine.
I know you can juggle more than one ball at a time; and everyone else would suprise themselves at how much they can improve with only a little practice.
Sometimes its just a simple as saying thats another idea I could agree with; or even I`d need a lot more proof to show me that that makes sense and is a good idea..
We all need to be more than one issue bodies; and if we would all agree on supporting accountability; fairness; conducting business instead of personal agendas especially when representing others as appointed; acclaimed or elected officials; then most problems would never arise.
Now parsley; tell me yes or no that you agree with those statements.

Great reply Parsley. Keep pushing people away from Agri-ville. You and about the 6 other people who argue with each other is all that is left on a regular basis. Nobody is going to change your views and you are not going to change their views.

Now its time to stick up for parsley. Except for those 6 people; there are apparently no others with the courage to publically state their views. Its a fact that 6 is not the correct number; but it is indeed too small a number; considering that the opinions are fairly anonymous. The really courageous people write and sign letters to the editor; create identifiable web pages etc. etc. There are even fewer of those persons; and they certainly should not be crucified for the stands they may take.
The vast majority of people really need to examine themselves to see if fence setting has created their ideal worlds. Even better; consider that question in the context of how they have ever really improved anyone else's life.

"Without popular support; your crusades will show little progress; and so will mine."

True. I was a very lonely voice twenty years ago. But I also do note there has been considerable movement away from the single desk.

"can improve with only a little practice." I agree. Bring on Board yoga. lol

"thats another idea I could agree with"

But what if it's NOT? You want me to lie?

"I`d need a lot more proof to show me that that makes sense and is a good idea" I've provided my email on line. I'm findable and accountable.

"We all need to be more than one issue bodies" Which is why memberships in the WCWGA and WBGA etc were paid, even though organic.

"we would all agree on supporting accountability; fairness; conducting business instead of personal agendas"
Agree. I have no persona;l agenda with the CWB. It is totally principle-based. I have no personal vendetta; on the contrary.

"especially when representing others as appointed; acclaimed or elected officials; then most problems would never arise."

I do not understand what this means. I do not represernt any view but my own. I've been very clear about that. Sometimes I criticize Conservatives. Or NDP. Or Liberals. Or choice candidates. or single desk candidates. I try to attack a principle. I'm not saying I don't run off the rails, but I do try.

You have hammered home the flax contamination issue; I also did on my blog.

I'm not sure what you seek. Pars
