When is the next market blip supposed to happen?

As far as I am concerned most investors will not be so gullible as before. My dad talks of a market blip soon (He gets advice from the big boys) news letters.
When I look at a lot of stock price over income levels we were more gullible in 08. Today stocks are making more prifits but generally not great levels. My picks are still Canadian banks, growth companies involved in electronics, Canadian utilities, natural resourse and exploration.

Won't like my answer but likely will be able to tell 6 months from now. Market has always managed to keep me humble.

Malleefarmer provided good evidence for the above. He posted the crop problems (not new information as likely had been going on for a while and well known) on November 30 at 2:13 pm MST. Over the next 2 days, the market grabbed the Aussie weather and went higher with it. My speculative side (know none of you have similar tendencies) saw the wheat market jump 40 cents/bu or a potential profit of $3000 per 5,000 bu contracts.

Math is bad. Should $2000. You would have had to pull the trigger at the top to achieve the $3000.
