    BTOfarmall,
It seems the internet connection hasn't taught you very much. Any fool can throw out some vulgarities but it doesn't make you look clever or demonstrate your implied intellectual superiority.
You maybe should also have utilised your internet connection to check the guidelines out before posting.

From what I understand from an earlier question I asked and Parsley answered. The Board can get grain from anyone to fill their orders. This would result in the board supporters losing their shirt in the pool if board has to buy higher priced grain from else where to fill their sales. Funny they can buy anywhere and we can not sell anywhere.

QuackGrassFarmer - Please put your glasses on before making a comment like that singling me out. Not that I care, but if you can't handle reading words, then don't read my posts. Simple to understand, for simple minds.

              BTOfarmall,
I see you are just another keyboard tough guy, hiding behind your screen, quick to hide behind your buddies with the "i'm not the only one doing it" excuse.
Still doesn't put you in the right or make you look any smarter.

Katoe. There is a direct correlation between age/farm size and support for the single desk. Even the CWB ( who do their own surveys) will tell you that. If the CWB elections were weighted based on acres the CWB wouldn't even bother with an election, they would just pack it in on their own.
Also the writing is on the wall for the single desk. The younger the farm the less support there is so you would think a $6 billion corporation would have some kind of exit strategy for the single desk. It won't be long before the votes won't go their way.

One last thought. Isn't it interesting that lets say 80% of what the CWB sells is by farmers who are forced to sell to the single desk. This 80% share is rising every year, so why wouldn't the CWB be working on fixing this? Would any private company stick with status quo with a trend like that?

                  katoe and walk

Please remember the cwb brings out programs that gain support.

The fusarium and churchill programs are perfect examples of buying support.

And then there is the red river flood/ haul in all your grain for the rrv farmers.

If I had poor quality wheat and someone was willing to pay me 75 cents a bushel more for it than a guy with good quality wheat, I would support the system as well.

And don't forget the releasing of the 100 percent grainflo contracts with zero penalty.

I don't know if not growing wheat or barley is the answer to changing the CWB's monopoly....it likely is not a feasible option for most of us.

We need to figure out what it will take for the gov't to make the changes to the legislation. This is a political issue in my mind.

                            Grassfarmer,

The law never created liberty... it simply condemns folks.

                            Caring for others... and putting ourselves in our neighbours shoes... Acting on those concerns... and fighting for those who can not achieve liberty without a helping hand... from a neighbor that really does care;

That is what creates a just, free, and prosperous community.

Why do you feed and support the parts of the CWB beast that are so evil and corrupt... grassfarmer?

I think some of what freewheat is talking about is happening.

Why couldn't the pro cwbers fill the boat load of durum when the cwb asked?

Go to show even the staunch cwb supporters say one thing and do the other when it comes to money.
