here this week spreads are narrowing for whatever reason.
Lesser grade feed wheat are lifting and premium almost non existing grades are falling. Fundamentally nothings changed but the traders see it differently.

Im not exactly what its called could be something along the lines of a FREE market

Won't get a response from Canada. The only signals (muted at best) are the monthly pool return outlooks and from there initial payment spreads that are the backbone of the producer payment options. You can go from a lack of market signals to a elevator/terminal system that blends everything based on visual characturistics and not buyer related quality specifications.

Actually western Canada does sell on contractual quality specifications at port (rail car in the case of US sales) but none of the signals (with the exception and you can see the discussion in another thread).

Last line - None of the signals on these specifications go back to the farmer who delivered the wheat.
