There is one country that has adequate supplies of high-protein wheat, and that is the U.S. Canada has some high-protein wheat but has cut back on exports also due to a short supply situation.

As a result of the supply situation, speculative and commercial buying has come into the wheat futures markets, especially in spring wheat, and is reducing the carry in market with nearby futures gaining on deferred months. Additionally, basis levels in the interior as well as in export markets have increased with exporters looking to cover commitments and fresh sales while mill buyers are also looking to increase the amount of U.S. spring wheat they normally purchase because of the supply situation in Canada. In a normal year, mills can buy Canadian wheat cheaper than U.S. wheat.

I spoke a mis truth.

I went actually half a mile in 5 hours.

So happy my truck had 35t Canola... the poor guy in front of me had 12t of feed wheat.

IT WAS NOT minus 40 with a wind blowing! Could shut off the truck for 1 hour... before needing to move up with others in the line up!

And at 5pm... they started using 2 lanes to dump... and got the probe working!

Hey guys it just amazes me how blind and stupid Canadian farmers are. I'm in Montana for two weeks and gee have a few pops with guess what farmers like my self who love to ski and do other things. Guess what when we compare wheat and durum were getting screwed big time in Canada. Hm the DTN report is priceless. We can acquire at any time cheaper wheat from Canada. Hm only game in Canada is CWB so who is offering cheaper product any time.

tommie is pretendin that he's hauling 12 per bu canolie today, like everyone else is doin. Me I'm loadin all of it that I got left to haul, sweepin bins though, cause i sold it all forward bout a year ago, fer less. Oh well thats marketin. sometimes you lose, and sometimes you lose. Canolie could now go to 100 per bu., wouldn't matter, cause the market has it all cornered already anyways!!!!!
