Dumb Idea? Anyone see the movie Gandhi? Can you overthrow the CWB like India did the British Empir

A thread a read the other day that was encouraging new ideas....

The movie Gandhi was on the other night and I got to thinking about the parallels....

The British could not enforce their rules on the Indian people if they did not allow it?

Can the Federal government arrest every anti CWB farmer in Canada if they chose to market their grain on their own? Last time I heard, Ritz was trying to open up barley marketing but could not because of politics...

I doubt he would mobilize the army against the farming community...

Ritz couldn't mobilize himself to say hello to his constituents during last election. So I certainly wouldn't expect him to do anything to shake-up the CWB. That would take too much effort you know!!!! (eyes rolling)

Those quotes are a breath of fresh air. Why can't
we have a hard line stance on issues like that.
Our politicians are too worried about loosing
votes so they never speak their mind. Makes me
want to move there.
