    Jag shout out

Things seem quiet here tonight so I will share this. I mean it in a light hearted manner.

I saw one of your Super Bs parked by the Peavey Mart in Kindersley this afternoon. As I drove by I said to the wife "hey that says Jag Farms on the door, that's a guy/gal from Agri-ville!" Anyways, it put a smile on my face that a poster on here kinda shows up in real life.

So that's my story. Best of luck to Jag I hope this post wasn't outta line;-) I wish this damn site had personal messaging options for cases like this :-(

It's fun to meet AV 'user names' in real life. I met gregpet at a meeting a few years ago when he surprisingly came over and introduced himself. What a fine guy. Kinda like meeting a movie star. LOL Pars

As much as I don't like Jag's marketing
view I do respect him for not hiding who
he is in the real world.

Especially with a business dependent on
grain producers (there could very well
be guys who don't use him because of his
          board support)

And yes, a PM option would be a good
          thing on this site.

            Thanks for sharing the post.

I just use Jagfarms as my user name for everything on the net to keep it simple. So I don't have 20 different user names to remember.

It is the actual name of our farm and business as well.

I have come across a few people from agri ville over the past few years. I enjoy meeting and talking to them in person even if we have different views on some things.

That was my lease operator/ dispatcher Reg with the super-b yesterday at Kindersley.
Reg is not a board supporter and he works along side with me.

ColevilleH2S if you are wearing that shirt you posted earlier you will run into lots of people from agri ville. Be easy to spot you. That's a pretty cool shirt. You should take orders at the show or sell them online.

I always wonder when I am talking to a farmer if they are on agri ville and who they could be? I am surprised when I talk to some farmers and I mention agri ville how many say they never heard of it.

Well I am sitting here in the Saskatoon Inn waiting for the Sask Seed growers general meeting to start having a coffee. Will be here until tomorrow night. Any body from agri ville here come have a coffee this morning or beer later tonight.

Pulse days are going on here as well at the Stoon Inn.

Below is my web site has a picture of me and wife on trucking page. Make it easy for you to spot me among the hundreds of other farmers here today.

The only way Jags business would be affected if they are very, very radical people like yourself. Just because i vote one way does not mean that i do not do business with or talk to people that vote another. Its time some of you people on here (although it will never happen), grow up and gain some respect for people that do not always think or see the same as you. People like yourself and usually very controlling , and your family life if any, suffers. AND THAT IS A KNOWN FACT, LIKE IT OR NOT!!

you said "...People like yourself and usually very controlling , and your family life if any, suffers."

You know they should a study about the controlling ways of the cwb and how affects farm families.

The problem with cwb supporters is they like to have rules for everyone except themselves. For instance jag and I were talking about a payment option for buying verona durum seed, on a previous thread, and as soon as I suggested the same payment plan as I am forced to take from the cwb the conversation ended. Rules for everyone else except for cwb supporters, they write their own.

Stewart wells is another fine example of the hyprocrisy of board supporters. Sells his grain as he pleases with a zero buyback and publicly wants everyone else to support the cwb. He doesn't support it, if a person was to think objectively about it.

In other words "Do as I say, not as I do."

Bucket I will continue the conversation.

You said you would pay me some up front for the Verona seed and pay the balance Dec 2012.

I produced the Verona seed in 2010 so I should receive the final payment Dec 2011 to be the same as the CWB. You added a extra year on. If I knew for sure I would receive payment I would go for that on my retail seed sales.

Like I mentioned a few times before the CWB or anyone else is NOT stopping you or anyone from becoming a seed grower. If you think seed growers have it so much better why not become one? There should be some benefit for all the extra work, risk, investment involved.

If I don't post back is not that you scared me off. It is most like because I am busy. I had lots of time to post the last week as I was on a relaxing vacation visiting my wifes parents eating lots of good Ukrainion food.

Most of the time I am too busy to post more than a few words.

I don't want to become a seed grower, that is not the point of the discussion, for christ's sake.

I am not complaining about the seed cost either, to be clear.

And yes, I will give you the point to be paid by december 2011. Even I don't agree with that structure so if I was to buy seed, it would be paid for upon pickup. Just the principal of this whole mess.

I wouldn't be buying enough for you to bother with either, probably 250 bushels to put on one quarter to multiply for the rest of the farm. I think I can find it closer.

Good discussion, don't agree with you on the durum file, but I think you know durum is a winner for 2011 and that the cwb has to find a way to rebuild quality stocks for their sales program. The cwb current thinking is not going to do it.

I really don't know what you's guys/gals want from the bored, other than cash up front right away now, the best price on the planet and freedom to market anywhere, anytime, anyhow. They, the board has ALWAYS been helpful and co-operative with us on our farm, whenever we ask fer help on issues. Maybe you's just don't know how to talk to them on the phone, er in person, or maybe you just WANT to much all the time and they are tired of your demands and foolish input!!
