I've never seen anything like it. There's gonna be a biiiig cleanup bill before things get back to normal there.

Looks like it might have damaged some significant businesses and industries? Not to mention roads destroyed?

What a crying shame! Our wet 2010 was a joke compared to AU. For the n'th time, IMO, NOTHING worse than TOO MUCH water! We feel sorry for you. Stay safe and sane.

The australian harvest is probably 2/3 done but in victoria they copped another 2 to 4 inches last night.

Myself still have 1300 acres of wheat on the stalk we escaped rain yesterday but forecast is for rain till friday and thursday to be the big one

To much water is always always a problem. that
simple good luck mate. Drew is calling for a wet
summer in Canada again in 2011. Yea just what
we need more water. take care.

Lucky hell, even normal will be a problem
if the leftover moisture delays seeding.
Its not just that the seed goes in the
ground a couple weeks later than normal.
The high moisture in the soil will extend
                      the growth season?
I would plan on another couple weeks of
                      growing season at the end.
