As the wheat futures continue to rise the mysterious $2.00 is now leaving the building and guess what were approaching $3.00 difference in price very soon.
Ah the CWB again out of the game along with every single western Canadian farmer.
Others prosper but not in Western Canada, just the CWB staff the railroads the elevators suppliers etc. Canadian farmers not even on the radar.
Sad really.
Take your production multiple by 3 and that's your gift to employees.
Our shitty crop is close to 200,000 now just on spring wheat. Add in durum and wow over half a million this year.

They have good product but not like we use to sell for peanuts to japan. Japan says we cant meet their tender. Well maybe they have to adjust their standards and Canada and the CWB should have not given away awesome shit for peanuts.

I thought the cwb was paying storage for high protein wheat so the japanese would never be out of low cost, high protein wheat.

Must be another failed program where the farmers that support the storage program did something else with their grain.
