Read this morning that the CWB was unable to supply Japan's latest tender for high quality HRS - something about logistics and quality . Could it be that we gave away a whole pile of wheat to the Saudis last June for a fraction of what it is worth today? I believe that the only premium market we ever had was Japan and now we can't even supply them. What a joke!

Maybe the CWB should use some of its hoard of cash, go South buy some really, really, really good grain. Then offer it fer sale to the Japs and pocket the profit, like Comedian farmers due, time and time again in the world a markeetering!

You are right burbert, the cwb should do just that and find out what wheat is really worth. And what it would be worth if the domestic millers had to buy foreign grain.
