I've joined groups, blackpowder, and joined associations whom I thought might share common ground, and appeared before parliamentary and senate committees three times, and written papers for every group you could imagine, and been on conference calls, and hosted election parties, and gone to court, and written on Agriville, and maintained a blog, and met with everyone from school groups to prime minister.

As an example, I wrote my MP last week. He emailed back next day or so. We get along well. Good communication.
