What is your soil moisture situation???

    Normal/Good??

    Wet/Heavier snow than average??

We here are have had normal precip this winter. Approx 8 inches of snow pack, soil saturated but we have tile drainage.

Too wet. Four feet of snow, on top of 40
inches of rain, and fields STILL RUNNING.
    Yeah, so kinda wet.

East side good to too wet and west side OK to too dry. Might just average out. 3 feet of snow east and none west.

Guess it's neither love or war, because that sure as hell is NOT fair. Seeding looks impossible unless the weather pattern turns a 180 and stays HOT and windy(guaranteed that will happen out west).3-4' of snow, plus it looked like spring runoff at snowfall in Nov. Only positive I can see is that our soil is NOT frozen under the snow pack. Just maybe it soaked down someplace, like dry China.

4' of solid moisture at freeze up and 2' of snow with some slow melts after some warm days. Seeding conditions will be excellent here in the SW on the bench.

The way he is puffin after his short walk to the bins, I would say he is not taking advantage of the CWB fitness room.

Think that the fact that he's telling us he's growing canola says it all.
