    Bill C-619

What has happened to this bill is it dead in the water and never eventuated.
    Thanks.

Planting conditions for april/may should be as close to perfect as they ever have been in Australian wheat/canola areas

    Mallee,

We should know by the end of next week if there is a Federal Election this spring.

Very likely that May 2 is the date we will be going to the Polls here in Canada.

Then depending on who wins... to what happens to the legislation.

It is a way for the conservatives to refill their election funding.

Nothing will happen with this bill.

        It is a hoax!

The conservatives have had two elections and four years to make marketing freedom a reality. They have done nothing.

AND considering how badly they did on durum marketing, I can't believe people will still elect David Anderson from grasslands as he has failed his constuients miserably.

            Bucket,

How about MP Goodale... who would not even let the election reform for a 40t minimum over 2 years... for an automatic ballot?

You may be angry... but what about your provincial SK party that has done nothing at all?

If the Conservatives get a majority... and then do nothing... then you will have the moral authority to make your claims they are chicken.

It is the Bloc, Goodale, and ND's that are responsible... THE TRUE COALITION OF INCOMPENTCY.

THE LIBERAL SPEAKER OF PARLIAMENT IS AS CORRUPT AS GOODALE AND THE BLOC.

THE COALITION MP'S JOKE IN PARLIAMENT HALLWAYS ABOUT HOW THEY ARE MAKING PARLIAMENT INTO 'THIS HOUR HAS 22 MINUTES'!!!

DO YOU THINK THE BLOC, ND, LIBERAL COALITION WILL ACTUALLY HELP YOU IN ANY WAY?

mY BET IS... THEY WILL STEAL WAY MORE OF YOUR ASSETS... AND CASH... THAN WHAT THEY HAVE TAKEN SO FAR!!!!

I don't think the liberals are going to be better, but I know that going in.

I expected more of the conservatives.

In the last election that confirmed the minority status for the conservatives, they could have made it an election issue.

As far as the provincial government in saskatchewan, it is not their responsibility to change federal laws.
Could they have more influence in this matter, and like the potash issue they could flex their muscles a bit, but it is a federal issue.

Tom,at what point will you admit they didn't even
kiss you after they where done with you.

The cwb issue is a non eastern issue-nobody has a
                  clue about it out there.

MY CITY FRIENDS IN TOWN IN A SMALL LOCAL
COMMUNITY DONT EVEN KNOW ABOUT IT.

And alas, the liberals will get into power, some con
will stand up and say"free our farmers"and people
like you will rally around the flag AGAIN and when
someone like me says to you"wtf?"You will start
saying"but..but..but..."and at that point i will turn
                  my back in utter disgust....

You have it right cotton, TOM is looking through rose colored glasses.

If he has any influence with the conservatives he should be making progress. I know when I phone Anderson's office or email him, they either don't respond or quickly want to get me off the phone.

So let's just say, he will be working pretty hard for my support and the only support he needs is my vote. And since I have voted conservative all my life that's a change.

Basically if the CWB is not a major platform issue on the conservative's election campaign, they will not get my vote.

It will indicate that western canada does not matter to them.

Like Tom says Cons are only hope with a majority, I'd give one more chance.

The other 3 stooges GUARANTEED to screw you more. How short are your memories?

Communicate your opinions to Sk MP's and the cabinet on various topics.

That is our responsibility in a democracy, to try to sway legislation with reasonable arguments.

Just complaining or giving up is rather childish. Ponder the alternative.

If this were Libya, you would need a civil war. Count your blessings.

You might be right, but, the way the conservatives have handled the cwb file is way more childish than me not voting for them because they haven't fullfilled an election promise from 4 years ago.

Sure I complain about the conservatives, mostly because I have voted for them and expected them to do as they said they would. That hasn't happened on the gun issue or the cwb.

It`s still to much politics and not enough government. Why is every vote not a free vote? Most votes seem to go against what our area needs.

The Conservatives actually did do something - they determined from the courts that the Government Cabinet regulations (and not farmers) are in control of the CWB. Then they did nothing. Since they could have ended this Government (CWB) control over captive supplies of farmer grain by a regulation simply ordering the CWB to grant export licences to producers, why would anyone think that, with a majority, they would end the monopoly by changing the Act?

My curiousity is why don't CWB complainers not want to end the monopoly by being granted licences?
