I suspect that he is a little limited in his ability to accomplish some things than we are led to believe. The opposition parties can pretty well do as they please and shut down anything they don't like. Look at the kangaroo contempt of parliament committee that was set up for the express purpose of creating a scandal, for example.

That being said, this Conservative voter will be a <b>1st time western separatist</b> if they don't to fix some things after getting their majority. Actually, I think a Li-Blo-ND coalition would accomplish the same thing if there is no majority.

so you think a minister purposely misleading parliament is not contempt? we know she lied and fraudulently changed the wording and intent of a document that had already been signed by the author. maybe if she had killed him you would find her in contempt. the cons are no better than anybody else until we make them clean up their act too.

C'mon Jen. Don't get into crap. There isn't a farmer reading and watching that can't recognize trumped up bullshit sticking to political lips, so let's not be drawn in MP games.

Real issues. We need REAL farm issues put on the election table.

            #1. Property rights for farmers

i'm with you but a liar is a liar and should be called on it. i think a minister of the crown misleading the commons and the country should, without question, be dismissed. there is rot in the politicians and in the govt. of this country. what good are property rights if your government lies to you? then your rights are worth nothing.

How about something new....... like........well maybe......our MPs and MLA,s actually being able to speak up and address their constituency concerns instead of just being a bench warmer in parlaiment and the leg. while the two Gods huddle them selves in the back rooms, confirring with Mulroney over their Wall-mart walkie talkies about how to run a democratic dictatorship.

Nope, not kidding. It will be nice to have a Non
                  all-left, all-the-time network for a change.

<i>"we know she lied and fraudulently changed
the wording and intent of a document"</i>
Actually, we know nothing of the kind. We do
know the minister had no intention of funding the
organization, and told her aid that intention. The
                  opposition's kangaroo court ignored that
explanation and made up their own. It doesn't
                  make their explanation the truth.

<i>"a liar is a liar and should be called on it."</i>.
I agree if the lie is proven to actually be a lie and
not a fabricated talking point for an election that
the opposition is trying to justify.

You know she kinda does look masculine, but you said "had" balls, does that mean Harper cut them off? Oh that's just creapy, but then again maybe she stole his in the first place because he has had how many years to use some and get rid of the gun control and or cwb and look at where we are.

yep one day in and we are all even at one a piece for lies.

Iggy won't form a coalition. Wink Wink

But Harper also approached the bloc for a coalition so big deal.

Harper didn't want an election, oh yeah, every second that committies and media talked about the Oda
Liedaa Afair, government contempt, etc etc. the HARPER gov numbers dropping like a rock.

At the end of day one it's a 1-1 tie. Kinda like telemiracle which way are we going with the lies? HIGHER!!!
