    Kramers Tandem

Auction today - 2003 Western Star Tandem Grain Truck sold $83,000 - wow. Thought it would go high considering the low KM's and aluminum box. Pre- emision Cat also atractive.

Yes once I saw it went that high, I knew the pup would be high too 37000

It sure pays to shine up the old tractors heh. the 4840 and 2805 went way high

must have been something in the air today.
Hodgins sold a half section off the end of my
driveway for 430. Actually 8 quarters went
altogether for 1.395 mil. Its starting to get nuts
      around here

What would that pup be NEW?

What is the assessment on the 8 quarters?

Now land investment is into high risk area. Young guys are screwed if this keeps going.
Only need interest rate increases to repeat 1980's.

the total assessment was in the 800000 range and the half was about 200 between the 2. I wasnt in the bidding because I rented it all last year and the only real crop I got was on the half. I will kick myself for not buying it but will find somemore somewhere. I need a year to get climatized to the prices.

That's over 1.5 times local average assessments, so using that factor it is not more than 5% over what land sold in the area last year.

Obviously it's not scary wet out there!

Wow, the old MF 4840 went for $44,000. That is high. They are good tractors, they can be bought for half that price. Then again, conisdering the cost of a new equivalent tractor this would be a payment for one year.
