They should send that fat useless tool to Afghanistan and we'll see who craps in there pants and kneels at an altar lighting candles crying for his momma. Can't stand guys like him on there soap box telling other people how to live but won't live that way themselves. Sad thing is people by his stupid books. Who is he what has he really done.

Looks like he's accomplished a couple of things...

Radio- The Glenn Beck Program first aired in 2000 on WFLA (AM) in Tampa, Florida, and took their afternoon time slot from eighteenth to first place within a year.[34][35] In January 2002, Premiere Radio Networks launched the show nationwide on 47 stations. The show then moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, broadcasting from new flagship station WPHT. On November 5, 2007, The New York Times reported that Premiere Radio Networks was extending Beck's contract. By May 2008, it had reached over 280 terrestrial stations as well as XM Satellite. It was ranked 4th in the nation with over six and a half million listeners.[36] Glenn Beck is number three in the ratings behind Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.[37

Television-In January 2006, CNN's Headline News announced that Beck would host a nightly news-commentary show in their new prime-time block Headline Prime. The show, simply called Glenn Beck, aired weeknights. CNN Headline News described the show as "an unconventional look at the news of the day featuring his often amusing perspective".[38] At the end of his tenure at CNN-HLN, Beck had the second largest audience behind Nancy Grace.[39] In 2008, Beck won the Marconi Radio Award for Network Syndicated Personality of the Year.[40]

Glenn Beck TV Show ImageIn October 2008, it was announced that Beck would join the Fox News Channel, leaving CNN Headline News.[41] After moving to the Fox News Channel, Beck hosted Glenn Beck, beginning in January 2009, as well as a weekend version.[42] One of his first guests was Alaska Governor Sarah Palin [43] He also has a regular segment every Friday on the Fox News Channel program The O'Reilly Factor titled "At Your Beck and Call."[44] As of September 2009[update] Beck's program drew more viewers than all three of the competing time-slot shows on CNN, MSNBC and HLN combined.[45][46]

Books- As an author, Beck has reached #1 on the New York Times Bestseller List in four separate categories as of 2010[update]: Hardcover Non-Fiction,[50][51] Paperback Non-Fiction,[50] Hardcover Fiction,[52] and Children's Picture Books.[53]

I think some of what he says is true, some I don't know and some is not correct. But he does make you stop and think more of the big picture.

The uprising in the middle east, I don't know if there is a master plan for all of that region to come together against the rest of the world, but I do know that it is a possibility, if the wrong people seize the gaping whole in power in all of those countries. In that case we will have assisted those that will be against us. But we have seen that show before.

He is right about being prepared. I'll be called a racist but our immigration, security wise, has to be ramped up, who are we letting into our country? We are at war with Muslims and others and yet our door appears open, interested to see what some of you think about that? We as Canadians don't want to have a discussion about it because we are the self proclaimed eternal pro-humanity leader. But if we let so many people in with different values than we have or I should almost say had, aren't we more volnerable to more problems that we see happenning else where?

I don't know how much threat of terrorist attack exist here, but what if there was one, what if not a terrorist attack but even a natural disaster. As example, when the power or phone goes out for a few hours, I cannot believe how it shows how dependant on those things we all are, and how useless we have become in terms of self survival. You meet someone after the power goes out and you would think their world ended, what if the power plants went out for a year? What if there was no food at the grocery store for 6 months, 1 month?

Beck ultimately is trying to connect the left with the terrorists but he has a big problem with that at least for me, since he has not explained why Bush and Cheney were and are still to this day involved with oil deals with the Bin Laden family, George Bush senior had lunch meeting with Bin Laden family members in New York, the exact day of 9-11. That war made them bigger billionaires than they were before. He hasn't answered that one or at least I haven't seen him.

I think that the exteme left and the extreme right are the cause of most of our and world problems. The extreme left wants no capitalism, which is no good, but the exteme right wants super capitalism. We the average joe get exploited both ways. The extreme right better not be allowed to go much further because the nut bars on the extreme left are gonna seize the opportunity that will arise when the average joe gets pissed off at being hosed. Example is the stimulus, it was the right idea but it went to the wrong people. the super rich were bailed out with every day people money while every day people are going broke.
That is the real reason for the uprising of the unions in the states but they don't want to admit it. Kinda funny that the extreme right don't realize that if they continue on they will be their own demise.

              Well said Rider.

Glenn Beck gave the right to free speech a BAD name.
He had a lot of people who believed everything he made up, but then so did Hitler

I just want to know what he has said that is not correct?

Tell me honestly, in all of the years of being on TV and radio, name me one (maybe two) statement(s) that have been completely dis proven and made him publicly retract it. How many days would he have been left on TV if it was constantly being proven that he was telling lies?

I can't think of one. Mostly because the stories he is talking about start with video or tape of people in their own words. That used to be what the media did in the old days. He has finally exposed the left and the unions trying to change our countries into something most people do not want. Socialism has never worked - anywhere. There is only one way to make everyone's life better and that is through an open market, capitalist system. It is governments and over regulation that cause the corruption. Look back over the last 200 years and tell us where the true innovation and life altering ideas have come from. China or Japan? USA or Russia?

I guess if you are not interested in the core values of Christianity then maybe some of his shows don't make a lot of sense. Standing up for Israel, looking after your neighbors and community, as well as your own family are pretty high on the list. Letting government take control is not.

I find it hard to watch on regular tv with all the commercials so the net is better.

he knows the secret is to scare the people who fear change. bring religion into it and you've got em by the nads. his tactics are about as cowardly as they come. find some scapegoat and blame america's troubles on them when just about everything that has happened started internally. the most powerful nation on earth likes to instill fear in its people.

Glenn Beck is a fear-monger...period. That is ALL that he does. He can write as many books as he wants but it is all about dire warnings and FEAR.

He uses religion as a club and does it in a crude ugly way. He is a BOOR and appeals to even more BOORS.
