Well said Rider.

Glenn Beck gave the right to free speech a BAD name.
He had a lot of people who believed everything he made up, but then so did Hitler

I just want to know what he has said that is not correct?

Tell me honestly, in all of the years of being on TV and radio, name me one (maybe two) statement(s) that have been completely dis proven and made him publicly retract it. How many days would he have been left on TV if it was constantly being proven that he was telling lies?

I can't think of one. Mostly because the stories he is talking about start with video or tape of people in their own words. That used to be what the media did in the old days. He has finally exposed the left and the unions trying to change our countries into something most people do not want. Socialism has never worked - anywhere. There is only one way to make everyone's life better and that is through an open market, capitalist system. It is governments and over regulation that cause the corruption. Look back over the last 200 years and tell us where the true innovation and life altering ideas have come from. China or Japan? USA or Russia?

I guess if you are not interested in the core values of Christianity then maybe some of his shows don't make a lot of sense. Standing up for Israel, looking after your neighbors and community, as well as your own family are pretty high on the list. Letting government take control is not.

I find it hard to watch on regular tv with all the commercials so the net is better.

he knows the secret is to scare the people who fear change. bring religion into it and you've got em by the nads. his tactics are about as cowardly as they come. find some scapegoat and blame america's troubles on them when just about everything that has happened started internally. the most powerful nation on earth likes to instill fear in its people.

Hitler?

Really, come on! That is just a stupid statement straight up.

Glenn Beck is a fear-monger...period. That is ALL that he does. He can write as many books as he wants but it is all about dire warnings and FEAR.

He uses religion as a club and does it in a crude ugly way. He is a BOOR and appeals to even more BOORS.

Ummm... , so screaming about how the grain companies will take over all our farms and push us into the cities by some of you, (and the cwb), is not a campaign of "dire warnings and fear"?

I will assume you don't mind being called a "fear monger" then also?

Always interesting when the someone gets called a liar and then gets compared to Hitler(?), but when you ask them to name some lies they come up empty.

Francisco, it’s what happens when people get their information from Michael Moore and 911 conspiracy theorists. When they start searching for actual proof for bogus claims, they come up empty.

I get a kick out of the “ George Bush senior had lunch meeting with Bin Laden family members in New York, the exact day of 9-11” theory. If, by “had lunch”, you mean they likely both ate lunch that day, and by “meeting with the Bin Laden Family”, you mean George Bush senior spoke briefly at, and shortly thereafter left, a meeting of 500 people, one of which was a Bin Laden brother, then it’s true. Talk about twisting the truth though, Michael Moore would be proud. Another funny one is “fire can’t melt steel”.

Silverback, good points about socialism having never worked anywhere. It can live off of the bones of capitalism for a while, but is doomed to failure, because of the inherent problem of stifling innovation, work ethics, and free thinking.

I was just thinking about that left wing blowhard Micheal Moore. There are mountains of evidence detailing the lies that he has told through the years. Such as...

Actually Glen Beck cited Hitler many times and likened Progressives or liberals to Hitler. (who by the way are at the opposite end of the scale)

He blamed the unions for the American financial problems and claimed there was a conspiracy between the democrats and alkeida.
Where did he get these ideas? Out of his head because they are great scare tactics and get Great ratings.

Hitler blamed the jews for all the problems in Germany. Free Speech is a great thing, unfortunately you get alot of NUT CASES along with it

...and the thread degenerates. The leader of the
National Socialist German Workers Party wasn't
known for his tolerance of free speech.
Much like socialists today, if they don't like your
ideas, they'd rather shut you up than debate
them.

He has likened the national socialist party (aka the nazis) to the progressive left, not hitler himself. They were socialists. Period. Government takeover and control, not limited government or free enterprise. I would guess the private businesses owned by the jews that were confiscated by the government would not think they were a right wing party.

Got a source quote for the allkeada / democrat comment?

One thing, the utter vastness and complexness of the
ideologies that are struggling against each other
,should not be held to account on a few extreme
views, from a few people on either side.
