FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE(APRIL 12, 2011) OTTAWA –
The National Citizens Coalition today released its new advertisement campaign to warn Canadians of the looming disaster of a socialist-separatist coalition.
As the May 2nd federal election approaches, it is crucial to remember what this coalition tried to do last time around. Our new ad is a metaphor for this incompetence, and shows the risk Canada would be taking if ever we allowed these socialists and separatists to run our country.
Whether it's the budget, taxes, or creating jobs we believe Ignatieff, Layton and Duceppe would collectively address these issues as depicted in our ad.
Please visit www.nationalcitizens.ca to view our ad and our important election updates. With the release of election platforms and spending details, we are warning that taxpayers should have great concern about a socialist-separatist coalition. "We saw the out of control spending demands of the Liberals, NDP and separatist Bloc the last time they tried to form a coalition. Today they are calling for billions in new spending - very stooge-like," says Peter Coleman, President and CEO of the National Citizens Coalition. "It has now become clear how this slapstick coalition would be throwing money around to keep itself together, and it is time to stop these three stooges."To pay for their massively expensive programs the taxpayer will be footing the bill once again. Once all of the spending is added up, there is no other way to pay for it all. "Both the Liberals and the NDP are relying on whacky math to fund their spending promises," says Stephen Taylor, Director at the NCC. The Liberals and the NDP have announced that they would reverse the planned reductions to the corporate tax rate to fund their expansive platforms – yet this is a numbskull plan. "With a higher tax rate on businesses, many companies will see their economic recovery reversed, causing jobs to move out of Canada – and the tax base will shrink," adds Coleman."In order to pay for their lofty promises, the separatistsand socialists will take their 'Tax and Spend' reputation to a whole new level. This will be devastating to theeconomy," explains Taylor
