Not sure, but it looks to me like he is trying to buy his own employees vote.

Or, maybe it is just the way I am interpreting it and they are under paid and deserve a raise. (sarcasm lol) I'm sure some are but across the board?

The devil is in the details. You know, I was wondering if the Liberal biased Globe and Mail might be twisting the facts just a bit, and it turns out that I was right. A little google search shed a little more light.

Since political staffers’ salaries are to be tied to those of public servants, all those at the various AS-levels are in line for a wage increase of 1.75 per cent this year, 1.5 per cent in 2012 and two per cent in 2013 — in accordance with a new collective agreement for the civil service.

So increases for public employees are bad at a time of restraint, I agree with that actually, but isn’t it more than a little deceptive to portray this as a singled out pay increase just for Tory staffers when it’s part of a negotiated collective agreement for the civil service???
I get a kick out of the astounding hypocrisy of NDP MP Paul Dewar who says “This is outrageous behaviour, Conservatives are more focused on bonuses for their political staffers than protecting people’s pensions or lifting seniors out of poverty.” So the NDP thinks that it’s outrageous that a public sector union received an increase in pay…. Oh really, I wonder if that will be on their next TV ad, and did they tell their own NDP staffers they won’t be getting their negotiated pay increase?

Yet another manufactured scandal with the help of a biased news media. Shame on the Globe and Mail.

I like that one Parsley, except at the start you said Dingaling, that is not the UN ringtome, that is Harpers privatie line for the fraudsters and prostitutes.

It also maybe the Liberals line if they let Chretien campaign for them. lol
