about time, at least now I "may" be able to stomach watching Canadian news on TV not the liberal/progressive/socialist tilt we get from CBC, CTV and global...

Just heard CBC announce on the radio that Sun
TV is launching at 4 eastern time.
Of course they also had to mention that it is
being run by Harpers former communications
director. Already gettting ready to counter any
                      facts they don't like.

Sun "news" is owned by Stephen Harper's former Director of Communications.

So you think you will get actual news reporting?
No if its the same as Fox, you get commentary and spin, just look at the front cover of sun news about Iggy quoting Mao.

This type of private "newscasting" has been the Downfall in the U.S. IT CREATES DIVISION and hate and fear-mongering and conspiracy theories etc etc.
                        So we'll have big spending Bush-like gov't.
                        Fox- like news
                        American style mega-prisons
                        American style election ads
                        Stephen will be proud

More like the "dark side" is afraid of restoring
                          balance to the force.

In the interest of fairness maybe what the Conservatives should do is take the money that currently goes to the CBC and give it to Sun news. And lets see, the CBC has been sucking the public teat for around 75 years so maybe in another 75 they should get their chance again.

If you think Fox-like "news" is balanced then John Stuart Mills was Right.
