Ezra was good.
He demonstrated the Liberal bias of the CBCs vote compass, talked about the freedom of speech suppression he was subjected to, and generally gored a quite a few sacred cows that the MSM keeps hidden in the barn.

I love his statement that includes the line provocative and thought changing. Wow.

A lot easier to accept a network that is honest about their bias and presents information that may be challenging. I don't know of any.

I think if you need the vote compass to tell you how to vote then you need to get out of the house more often, and you likely represent the population that always astound me that get influenced by who has the best tv commercial as to how they vote.

To my dear friends (harpers words) Tom silver, I think it is great the rising sun (is that connected to China's rising sun?) anyway, is great anytime political parties expose themselves. Everyone knows what it is, who it is etc. if people want that then go for it. This is the reform party view of the world.

But I was expecting and hoping even within that realm, that when someone says we are gonna have unbiased presentation and debate, that there would at least be the other side there to present the other view or story what ever you call it. Pretty hard to call something a debate when there is one view unless you are debating yourself which is kinda freaky.

The cbc sometimes is biased but not in the way it is always presented to be. they rely on gov money so they are careful to not piss off who is likely gonna win. I think they have been very limited in persuing the scandals as much as the average Canadian wants to know more of the details, as case in point.

There is no 517 on my star choice.... It goes from 516 which is History West to 520 which is A&E with nothing in between.

I phoned and asked why I don't get channel 517 on my star choice receiver (shaw direct now), and I was told that I need a new receiver. Apparently mine has 8 year old technology and the channel is broadcast on a frequency that it cant receive, there are also a few other channels that do the same thing. Not ready to go digital yet, or upgrade so I guess sun tv will have to wait.
